Jennifer Maguire: 'I'm making my husband a priority before the baby comes'

Jennifer Maguire has insisted she will keep focused on her marriage when her first baby arrives.

The Republic of Telly star is expecting to give birth any day now, and admitted she has already told husband Lau Zamparelli that they need to make time for each other once the baby is here.

Speaking about how her baby will change her life, Jennifer said she will make a conscious effort to spend time with Lau.

“I cannot wait to meet the little one, it’s just I know that once that baby comes my life will change,” she admitted.

“I will have no time and no sleep for many weeks. Meeting friends and having lucid normal adult conversations
will be a thing of the past for a while.

“And simple things I enjoy like getting my nails done or going to the hairdressers will be rushed scheduled
appointments, probably timed around breast feeding,” she wrote in the Irish Sun.

“And let’s not forget the neglect of our other halves. Yep they will slowly slip into the number two position as baby will be the new number one . . . and rightly so.

Wedded bliss: Jennifer and Lau are spending quality time together

“I am trying to use this time to tie up loose ends, if ya know what I mean — see friends, have a pedicure, do my VAT (I know, how exciting).

“And spend as much time being a couple before the couple becomes a threesome. That is always the most common complaint, isn’t it . . . that you just don’t have that precious time together anymore.

“So we are making it our mission to go out and spend as much time together as possible. In fact, I think he is probably
sick of me at this stage,” she added.
