Roxanne Pallett has announced she is expecting her first child with her husband Jason Carrion.
The 38-year-old married her firefighter beau in January last year, 17-months after they started dating.
Sharing her pregnancy news with The Sunday Mirror, the former Emmerdale star admitted she feels like “the luckiest woman in the world”.
“I now know what ‘happy ever after’ feels like. To have such a beautiful life here and be blessed with the most incredible husband and our little baba on the way… my mum’s already knitting for England.”
“My husband is driving round at all hours getting me pizza and cookies. We’re in a bubble of excitement,” the actress said.
“Everyone I now have around me brings out the best in me. It’s true that happiness is the greatest success. I’m just very grateful for such a beautiful chapter.”
Roxanne, who is living in New York with her husband, was previously engaged to Lee Walton.
Their relationship broke down after Roxanne was publicly slammed for falsely accusing Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas of punching her while starring on Celebrity Big Brother.
The mum-to-be later admitted she was wrong, and publicly apologised for making the accusation.
