Natasha Bedingfield has finally welcomed her first child.
The 36-year-old singer announced the happy news on New Year’s Day by sharing a picture from her hospital bed.
Raising a coffee cup with ‘Mum’ written on it, Natasha told her followers, “Omg! Guess what just happened at the very end of this year! The happiest new Year ever!”
Natasha only announced that she was expecting her first child with husband Matt Robinson in October.
In an interview with The Sun, Natasha said, “Becoming a mum is Âsomething I’ve always dreamed of but for a long time I felt it was way off in the distance.”
“Now the bump is starting to really show, it’s sinking in that this is really happening. I’m so excited to embrace this huge life-change. And Matt is super supportive.”
Natasha married Matt, who is a Californian businessman, back in 2009. The pair live in Los Angeles.
