Molly-Mae Hague reveals major parenting clash with Tommy Fury in new Netflix series – after being raised ‘completely different’

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have opened up like never before in their brand new Netflix show, At Home With The Furys.

While the series mainly focuses on Tommy’s older brother Tyson and his family, the Love Island star also share their journey to becoming first-time parents on the show.

In the series, Molly-Mae addresses the cultural differences between her and Tommy, who was raised in the Traveller community.

In the second episode, the Fury family discuss education, as Tyson’s wife Paris explains why their eldest daughter left school when she was 11.

“Venezuela came out of school when she turned 11 because in Traveller tradition, that is what they do,” she said.

“They come out of school and they learn their parents’ skills.”

The series, which was filmed while Molly-Mae was pregnant with their daughter Bambi, later showed Tommy saying he wants to bring up their child “the old fashioned way”.

The boxer said: “Growing up the way I’ve grown up, I’ve got my morals. I live my life a certain way and I feel like when our little girl comes along, she’ll most definitely be brought up the way I’ve been brought up; the old fashioned way, the right way.”

While Molly-Mae praised her now-fiancé’s morals, the influencer admitted they’ve clashed over plans for Bambi’s education.

“With Tommy obviously being a Traveller, he has had conversations with me about our child not going to school which is absolutely non-optional,” she explained.

“I’ve been raised completely differently to that, it would never be a question that our children or child would not go to school, but hopefully it won’t cause too many rifts.”

The series also shows Molly-Mae opening up about her place in the Fury family.

“In the Fury family, I am the only non-Traveller ‘wife’ at the minute, so to speak. But I’ve never felt out of place,” the 24-year-old said.

“They’ve been so amazing, so lovely to me, and literally made me feel like a part of the family straight away.”

At Home With The Furys is available to stream on Netflix now.
