The pair have since to installed CCTV outside their home and set up an alarm system that immediately calls the police if the alarm goes off.

Speaking to OK!, Faye said: “It’s hard, but it’s in the hands of the police and what can we do. The police were so helpful and they know where we are with alarm system going directly to them and we have seen a lot more police patrolling which has been really nice.”

Teddy said of the break in: “It is massively [scary]… It felt so strange getting into my car in and out for a while knowing someone had touched all my stuff and invaded my privacy.”

He added: “I’ll be thinking twice making sure my car is definitely locked and Faye’s and double checking all the locks on the house.”

“We’re trying not to put our house on social media in certain angles and we’re being careful. It’s something that we can’t help but it’s the way of the world unfortunately.”

The thieves also stole a pair of Faye’s shoes from the vehicle, and Faye branding them “scum heads”.
