Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu teases new job in move away from reality TV

Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has landed a new job, in a big move away from reality TV.

The Love Island winner sparked concern when she failed to attend the live final of Celebrity Big Brother last month, after the backlash she received during her time in the house.

Now, the reality star has teased a return to her acting roots, as she shared a photo of her memorising a secret script on her Instagram Stories.

Before she shot to fame on Love Island, Ekin-Su portrayed the role of Isil, a London-based photographer, in the Turkish soap opera Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk in 2020.

She has now hinted she will be back on-screen acting, as she posted a snap of her cosy night in studying a new script.

The star added an emoji to keep the contents of the script hidden.

This step away from reality TV comes after Ekin faced serious backlash during her time on Celebrity Big Brother.

The 29-year-old was evicted from the Big Brother house last month, and was met by a series of boos from the crowd.

A source previously told the Daily Mail: “It’s been a bit of a tough couple of weeks for Ekin-Su.”

“She could have played the sob story card but has remained tight-lipped publicly and expressed to those around that she’s aware she must be accountable for a few things that have happened.”

“Understandably she is feeling vulnerable, but is using this time to gather her thoughts, and figure out the next steps, which is why her management believes withdrawing her from the final is the most sensible move.”

“She has asked the team for some time to reflect which everybody is on board with.”
