Love Island star Amber Wise’s famous father Dennis has slammed Sammy Root for “using” her.
Although he was single going in to Casa Amor, Sammy had a romantic connection with Jess Harding.
While she was away, the 22-year-old got to know two girls – Amber and Gabby Jefferey.
To Love Island viewers’ shock, Sammy inevitably chose to couple up with Amber.
However, when Jess returned to the villa a single woman, claiming she was “happy” for Sammy, he revealed the door wasn’t entirely shut on their romance.
Over the past couple of days, the pair have begun to rekindle their flame.
Speaking to The UK Sun about his daughter’s Love Island appearance, Dennis slammed Sammy for “using” her during Casa Amor.
He told the publication: “She’s never brought a boyfriend home so I’ve not had to bring out the Crazy Gang side just yet. But let’s just say Sammy wouldn’t be welcome at home at present.”
“He’s not The One. Amber felt used I think and it’s disappointing to see as a father.”
“There’s things I’ve looked at and gone ‘Jesus!’ but I’m doing all right at the moment. I am protective of her, all fathers are of their daughters.”
“I saw Amber made a comment about ‘having lots of boys on the go’ and I was like, ‘I’ve not seen that’.”
