Love Island fans are in hysterics after Chris Hughes shared the “tweet of the year” about his ex-girlfriend Olivia Attwood.
The former couple struck up a romance during the 2017 series of the hit dating show, going on to place third.
However, Chris and Olivia parted ways just seven months later.
Olivia previously opened up about her split from Chris to MailOnline, saying: “It was toxic with Chris and we argued a lot. I never had that problem with Brad, we never argued.”
“I was just incompatible with Chris. You meet on this show and things are very different in the real world. You think ‘oh s**t do we actually have stuff in common?’ It wasn’t meant to be.”
The Love Island star then rekindled her romance with footballer Bradley Dack, who she has since married, telling the publication: “I thought when I was in Love Island that was it.”
“I was so done with [Bradley] but then I ended up in another relationship [with Chris] that ended up being so toxic and all-consuming. And sometimes that’s what happens and it pushes you back to your ex.”
On Thursday, it was announced that Bradley had signed to Sunderland AFC, the club that Chris supports.
Taking to Twitter, the Love Island star reacted to the news in the best way.
The 30-year-old retweeted the announcement, sharing a gif of himself and Olivia in bed during Love Island in which he’s covering his ears.
