Little Mix star set for major move abroad ahead of solo career launch

Perrie Edwards is set for a part-time move to Turkey, after her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain signed for Turkish club Besiktas.

The footballer has secured a three-year deal with the Istanbul side, which is based 2,000 miles from their home in the UK – which they share with their 2-year-old son Axel.

A source told The Sun: “It hasn’t been an easy decision because Perrie and Alex have their young son Axel to think about and they don’t want to live their lives apart.”

“The deal was too good to turn down though so they are giving it a shot and are determined to make it work.

“They know it’s not going to be straightforward but they love each other and want to support one another’s dreams. That means making some sacrifices.”

Perrie is reportedly planning on splitting her time between the UK and Turkey during the football season.

But this could prove difficult later this year, as she’s finally set to launch her solo career after Little Mix went on hiatus last year.

The songstress is currently signed to Columbia Records, and has been working on new music for over 12 months now.

The couple have been dating since 2016, and welcomed their first child together in August 2021.

Months later, Alex proposed to Perrie in July 2022.
