Lily Allen reveals ‘mortifying’ interaction she had with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis

Lily Allen has revealed the “mortifying” interaction she had with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.

The Not Fair singer opened up about meeting the couple in boujee London restaurant Chiltern Firehouse.

The 38-year-old was rushed over to the A-list couple by the maître d’ who then proceeded to introduce her as fellow Brit Rita Ora.

Speaking to her co-host Miquita Oliver on their podcast Miss Me? Lily revealed: “I went out with Mark Ronson and he’d sort of vanished.”

“There was a guy who used to be the maître d’ of the Chiltern Firehouse. He came running up to me. I was standing on my own, and to the right of me were Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.”

“He grabbed my arm and said, ‘Darling! What are you doing here on your own?’ Then he introduced me to Ashton and Mila but called me Rita Ora.”

“I went along with it, didn’t correct him. I stood there dying inside and didn’t have the confidence to say, ‘Actually, no, that’s not who I am.'”

She added: “The guy went off, and 15 minutes later he came running over and was like, ‘Rita, Rita, I’ve seen Ricky, your boyfriend. He’s looking for you.'”

Rita’s then-boyfriend Ricky Hilfiger came over and resolved the situation as he recognised she wasn’t the pop star.

Lily recently opened up about having children and admitted: “My children ruined my career.”

The Not Fair singer was at the top of her game and one of the most famous faces in the UK music industry when she decided to start a family.

The 38-year-old shares two daughters Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 10, with ex-husband Sam Cooper.

In an interview with the Radio Times Podcast, she admitted: “My children ruined my career. I love them and they complete me, but in terms of pop-stardom, they totally ruined it.”

“I get really annoyed when people say you can have it all because, quite frankly, you can’t.”
