Kate Ferdinand hits back at trolls who say she shouldn’t be working out

The blonde beauty is expecting her first child with Rio Ferdinand

Kate Ferdinand has hit back at trolls who told her she should’t be working out.

The former TOWIE star has continued working out during her pregnancy, and regularly shares her training sessions on Instagram.

Defending her gym sessions on her Instagram Story, Kate told fans they “help me feel like me”.

“Hey guys, had so many messages about me working out so thought I would give you a little update,” she shared.

“I know I’ve been a bit slack on here recently. I’ve been enjoying phone free time.”

“I know I say this all the time, but it really is quite mental for me. I’ve found especially whilst being pregnant the gym helps me to feel like ‘me’ as much as I can.”

“Being pregnant for the first time there is lots of ‘unknowns’ so it’s nice to have some form of consistency where possible,” she added.

“Still getting through my workouts, approx 3 times per week… & a lot less intense. I’ve been really listening to my body and if I feel like I need to rest and take it easy I do.”

Kate recently opened up about her pregnancy struggles, admitting she had been suffering from terrible morning sickness and migraines.

The Essex native said that training was like “therapy” for her, keeping her “calm and less anxious”.

“In regards to training I trained for the first 8 weeks and then became absolutely exhausted, I really struggled with everything, I just felt sick tired and all over the place constantly”

“After the 12 week mark I have started to feel gradually better and felt I could get back into doing more bits that I would normally do and back into training slowly.”

“I’ve been doing Pilates & some weight training – my mind feels so much better for it, for me the gym is like therapy it really does help me stay calm and less anxious.”
