Made in Chelsea star Josh ‘JP’ Patterson has defended his girlfriend Binky Felstead, after she commented on Cheryl’s post-baby body.
In a recent interview, Binky said that Cheryl’s pictures showing off her post-baby body were “a bit in your face” – however, JP has insisted that Binky’s words were “manipulated”.
Posting on his Instagram story, Josh told his 433k followers, “Binks recently did an interview, and by the looks of things, the answer has been manipulated.”
“I have been incredibly open about our frustrations with how much criticism women come under pre, during and post-pregnancy.”
Josh and Binky welcomed their first child, India, back in June.
“I can honestly say, during that interview, there would be no way Binks would be on her high horse, criticising another mother – especially her being one herself, and going through the exact same thing as that person would be,” he said.
“What Binks would have said is just to try and create a little bit more of a realistic message to mothers out there. The reality is, not every mother is going to be able to get themselves in shape, like the next person.
“She’s an absolutely terrible cook, but she’s got a heart of gold and I love her to pieces. I know how much this article has upset her. I’m sorry if my comments have offended anybody, but it’s just something that I felt passionate about,” he added.
