Jacqueline Jossa has responded to backlash from her fans after comments she made about self harm were deemed “disrespectful.”
She is nine-months pregnant and has got into trouble with her fans after comments she made at the British Soap Awards after viewers shared a clip of her talking to Hollyoaks actress Lacey Turner and saying, “Everything is always self-harm on that show.”
The controversial comment was made after Hollyoaks won Best Storyline for Lily Drinkwell’s self-harm plot.
She took to her Instagram stories to clear things up, “I answered with, I’m not actually sure, ‘I think they all self-harmed on that show’. I didn’t watch the show, I only went from the clip I saw previously, which involved three girls on a bed. I haven’t watched the show recently so don’t actually know, but always love it and wasn’t discrediting. I was literally answering what the storyline was.”
The controversy comes after a tumultuous few weeks of relationship trouble with partner Dan Osborne.
