Jack Fincham makes heartbreaking confession about life after winning Love Island

Jack Fincham has made a heartbreaking confession about life after winning Love Island.

The Essex native shot to fame when he won the ITV2 dating show alongside Dani Dyer in 2018.

Since then, Jack has admitted he’s lost all his “real friends” since leaving the villa.

Speaking on the Under The Surface podcast about men’s mental health, Jack explained: “When I came off Love Island, my phone did not stop ringing…”

“I thought I had every mate under the sun. But now I’ve realised as the years have gone on, they weren’t even my mates.

“I’ll admit it now, I feel gutted that I probably didn’t think about my mates who were actually there for me and when they were trying to tell me stuff, even family, saying ‘don’t hang around with that person’, ‘don’t do this’, ‘don’t do that’.

“I just thought, ‘what are you telling me what to do for? They’re alright.’ So I was being negative towards them, not listening.”

“Then the relationships broke down when they were just saying what I know now. They saw it happening, but I didn’t see it coming.

“I’ll be the first to admit now, it’s hard not to get caught up in all the hype.”

Jack and Dani coupled up on the first episode of Love Island in 2018 and remained together until the end of the season, eventually winning the £50,000 prize.

The reality stars moved in together shortly afterwards, but they parted ways in December of that year.

After their relationship ended, Jack welcomed his first child with close friend Casey Ranger – a baby girl named Blossom.

Meanwhile, Dani rekindled her romance with her ex Sammy Kimmence, and the couple welcomed a baby boy named Santiago in January 2021.

But a few months later, Dani split from Sammy after he pleaded guilty to five counts of fraud and was handed a 42 month prison sentence.

Dani is now dating West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen, who she recently welcomed twins with.
