Girls Aloud to appear on major Saturday night show for the first time since reuniting

Iconic pop group Girls Aloud are returning to our TV screens ahead of their much-anticipated reunion tour.

According to The Sun, bandmates Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle will appear on a major Saturday night show next month, for the first time in over a decade.

Their appearance will no doubt generate plenty of excitement for their reunion tour, which kicks off in May.

Their TV return will take place on April 13th, when they appear on the live finale of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway as Star Guest Announcers.

A source said: “They have been holed up rehearsing and practising dance routines ahead of going back on the road, and this is a real coup for Ant & Dec’s show.”

“The girls are going to be treated like royalty and producers know they will have amazing outfits planned for the evening.”

“They go way back with Ant & Dec and know the lads well from their time on the showbiz circuit, so will be up for a laugh. The girls expect the lads to be their mischievous selves.”

The band’s return to performing was confirmed when the group announced a UK and Ireland tour back in November 2023.

The lucrative comeback will see Girls Aloud kicking off their tour in Dublin this May, their first tour as a band since 2013.

It will also mark their first time performing since their beloved bandmate Sarah Harding died of cancer in 2021.
