Gemma Owen has revealed some surprising friendships with her Love Island co-stars.
The 19-year-old found love with Luca Bish on the hit dating show, and the couple came runner-up behind winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti.
Meanwhile, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope nabbed third place, and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page placed fourth.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Gemma revealed: “There was a really good group of girls in there. I think the final girls got along really well, with Danica [Taylor], Antigoni [Buxton] and Amber [Beckford] from earlier on in there, they were really lovely.”
“And some of the boys as well. Ikenna [Ekwonna], I got on really well with him from the show.”
“I’ve tried to keep out of this as much as possible. I’m not going to be throwing shade on anyone, and I hope no one’s got anything bad to say about me. I’m keeping out of all the drama. I just want a nice life!”
Noticeably missing from Gemma’s list was Paige Thorne, who had been coupled up with Gemma’s ex Jacques O’Neill, before moving on with bombshell Adam Collard.
The 19-year-old also neglected to mention whether she would keep in touch with any of the male finalists – Davide, Dami and Andrew.
Earleir this month, Gemma and Luca left the Love Island reunion earlier than the rest of the cast, and also snubbed Antigoni’s after party.
The couple also didn’t attend Tasha Ghouri’s 24th birthday party.
