Jess Impiazzi has revealed her father is on end of life care in a heartbreaking post.
The reality star, who appeared on Ex On The Beach in 2015, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of her and her dad as he celebrated his 70th birthday in bed.
She captioned the post: “He’s defied some odds and made it to 70!! He’s a fighter! Happy 70th birthday Papa 🥳 sticking in there strong ❤️”
Jess explained: “My dad is on end of life care due to many health issues, including lung cancer, vascular dementia, Alzheimer’s and a heart aneurysm- however he’s been fighting through and today we celebrate his 70th birthday 🥳❤️ #itsthesmallthings #silverlinings ❤️”
The 32-year-old’s celebrity friends took to the comment section to wish her father well on his special day.
Actor Cristian Solimeno wrote: “Happy birthday to your Dad Jess. He must be incredibly proud of you and it’s awesome that you are both choosing to embrace the good things on offer every day. The awful stuff casts such a long and terribly dark shadow but I see you both beaming out enough love and light to illuminate the way. ❤️”
Singer Pixie Lott penned: “Ahhh happy bday to ur Dadda Jess ❤️❤️❤️❤️” while Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison commented: “Happy birthday papa ❤️”
Jess revealed in June that her father was terminally ill, writing: “It’s been a very tough month or so… I was going to keep this off social media but I want to be open and honest on here…”
