The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre.

The show will be broadcast on BBC One starting at 7pm.

Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, said about the Scottish actor, who’s hosting the event: “He is deservedly beloved by British and international audiences, alike.”

“His warmth, charm and mischievous wit will make it a must-watch show next month for our guests at the Royal Festival Hall and the millions of people watching at home.”

The Scottish actor is internationally known for holding the lead role from 2005 to 2010 in the longstanding British sci-fi show, Doctor Who.

Irish actors Barry and Cillian are nominated in the Leading Actor category for their respective roles in Saltburn and Oppenheimer, while Paul is nominated in the Supporting Actor category for his part in All of Us Strangers.

Paul stars in the film opposite Andrew, who was unfortunately snubbed in the Leading Actor category.

Poor Things, which was produced by Irish production company Element Pictures, has also received multiple BAFTA nominations.
