Everyone is saying the same thing about Scott van-der-Sluis’ shock return to Love Island.
The former Shelbourne F.C. goalkeeper appeared on UK version of the show earlier this summer, but failed to find love in Mallorca.
Just weeks after he wrapped filming the ITV2 series, Scott jetted to Fiji to enter the Love Island USA villa – shocking fans.
Scott enjoyed brief romances with Irish contestant Catherine Agbaje and Hampshire native Abi Moores on the UK version of Love Island this summer.
After the show, fans hoped to see the footballer rekindle his romance with Catherine, but it looks like he’s got other priorities.
Love Island fans have taken to Twitter to react to Scott’s return to Love Island – and they’re all confused as to why he left Catherine behind.
One Twitter user penned: “Scott was literally JUST on FaceTime with Catherine like 2 days ago and he’s now ALL OF A SUDDEN on Love Island USA???”
Another said: “We all know Scott wants Catherine and thanks to Ruchee and her videos it appears the feeling is mutual! So why’s he on Love Island USA?”
A third tweeted: “Not scott going straight onto USA 🤣 guess he werent as into catherine after all 😵💫,” while a fourth said: “Nah the Scott and Catherine shippers are ripping their hair out right as we speak.”
Meanwhile, a fifth wrote: “I thought Scott was with Catherine. I’m confused. Are they not together anymore?”

The Welsh footballer was left heartbroken when the Irish contestant returned from Casa Amor with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson – leaving him single and vulnerable.
Catherine and Elom were dumped from the villa shortly afterwards, as viewers slammed Catherine for ditching Scott.
Catherine and Elom split soon after they were dumped and since then, fans have been calling for her to rekindle her romance with Scott – who was dumped from the villa alongside Abi Moores.
Over the past couple of weeks, the Love Island stars have fuelled rumours they’ve rekindled their flame as they’ve shared cryptic posts on social media and been papped spending time together.
On Friday night, news of Scott’s return to the show sent shockwaves through the Love Island community, and Catherine appears to have reacted.
During an Instagram Live, the Irish contestant said: “I’m not in a relationship if that’s what you guys think. I’m not boyfriend and girlfriend with anyone.”
“It doesn’t mean I’m not talking to anyone,” Catherine cryptically added.
