Ben Champniss has welcomed his first child with his wife Georgia.
The actor, who plays Shrimpy in EastEnders, shared the exciting news via Instagram on Sunday.
Sharing a photo with of his newborn in the hospital, Ben wrote: “Introducing, Freddie Robert Champniss. Born Saturday 24th July at 5.40pm. Weighing 7lbs.”

Ben’s EastEnders co-stars rushed to the comment section to congratulate the couple, with Jamie Borthwick (who plays Jay Brown) writing: “Congrats to you both ❤️.”
