Coronation Street star Sam Aston has announced he is expecting his second child with his wife Briony.
The actor, who has played Chesney Brown in the soap since 2003, shared the exciting news via Instagram on Wednesday with a sweet snap.
In the photo, his 14-month-old son Sonny held up a chalkboard sign that read: “We’re adding another pumpkin to our patch! Due Spring 2022.”
Sam’s Corrie co-stars took to the comment section to congratulate the couple on the happy news.

After a two year engagement, childhood sweethearts Sam and Briony wed in 2019 in front of their friends, family and soap star co-stars at Stock Farm in Cheshire.
The couple welcomed their first child Sonny in August last year.
