Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has revealed he’s contracted coronavirus.
The actor, who plays Steve on the ITV series, revealed the news after the soap set went into lockdown.
“1st day out of bed today starting to feel a little better after contracting the virus,” he told fans on social media.
“My main symptom was gastric and still is bloody awful but lucky to not have respiratory. Stay safe everyone x.”
ITV made the decision to stop filming Coronation Street as well as Emmerdale when the pandemic began last month.
Actors and crew were told not to come in, in hopes of stopping the spread of COVID-19.
