Love Island 2022 contestants Deji Adeniyi and Lacey Edwards have reportedly split since leaving the villa.
The couple first struck up a romance towards the end of the show, after Lacey strutted into the villa as a bombshell.
However, their time on the hit dating show was cut short as they were soon dumped from the island.
A source told The Sun that the couple split after Deji was accused of sleeping with their fellow Islander Coco Lodge, which they say was the “last straw” for Lacey.
“Everyone could tell it was awkward between them at the Reunion after Lacey delivered some home truths. Now they’ve called it quits and are no longer seeing each other,” the source told the outlet.
“Lacey didn’t want to force something that wasn’t meant to be and then the rumours about Deji and Coco were the final straw between them.”
They explained that their romance was “basically over before it even began,” as the couple reportedly didn’t even go on a first date after leaving the villa.
Lacey and Deji raised eyebrows during the Love Island reunion, when fans picked up on the frostiness between the pair.
An insider said, “Earlier in the week Chyna told a number of people that Coco had slept with Deji. Lacy was absolutely mortified and was giving Deji the cold shoulder all night.”
“Summer decided to bring it up with Coco while they were arguing about something else and all hell broke loose.”
“Coco and Chyna are no longer speaking, and now Coco and Summer aren’t either. There was a lot of drama.”
Deji entered the Love Island villa as a Casa Amor bombshell, and coupled up with Indiyah Polack.
However, when they returned to the main villa, the waitress’ former flame Dami Hope wanted her back, and the pair called time on their Casa Amor fling.
The 25-year-old then told Danica Taylor that he wanted to see where things would go with her, however she quickly shut down his advances as she wanted to remain friends.
