This popular ITV show has been renewed for another season

Your Mum, My Dad has reportedly been renewed for a second season.

The first season of the ITV dating show, hosted by Davina McCall, premiered last month.

According to the MailOnline, ITV bosses have made the decision to bring back the reality show as “ratings increased to an average of three million viewers an episode”

A source also told The UK Sun: “There was just such a warm, positive feeling around the show and everyone was thrilled with the ratings for a launch series.”

“Everyone remains very excited to see how the format can develop in future.”

The show centres around middle-aged parents in their bid to find love.

Branded the “middle-aged Love Island”, the show has proved successful as some couples from the show are still going strong today.

Roger Hawes and Janey Smith have confirmed they’re still together after the final episode of the ITV show aired.

Postman Roger, 58, lost his beloved wife Joanne, 52, to cancer 18 months ago and signed up to the new ITV1 dating show in a bid to move on.

In an Instagram post, sharing a selection of images of a loved up Roger and Jane, the 58-year-old penned: “It’s been hard to keep it a secret but the wait is finally over.”

“Me and the beautiful @janeybombshell are still going strong and have never been better since leaving @mymumyourdaduk.”

“We couldn’t be happier together and it wouldn’t be possible without @itv @davinamccall @mymumyourdaduk’.”

Davina, 56, shared her praise for the programme and told The Sun: “I want to present this show for the rest of my life. A celebrity version would be so good — how many single celebs are there? I’m interviewing now.”

She gushed about how amazing it was to see romantic relationships blossom organically on the show.

The TV presenter even showed her interest in hosting a celebrity version of the show.

Fan favourites Natalie, 44, and Paul, 51, shockingly split following their appearance on the show.

The pair were unable to make things work in the real world, as The Sun claimed that they struggled to adapt after leaving the ‘filming bubble’ and being long distance.
