This Morning legend ‘set to make their return’ to the show – following Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby departure

Rylan Clark is reportedly set to make his return to This Morning.

The 35-year-old, who rocketed to fame on The X Factor, has been credited as the main relief presenter on the ITV show since 2014.

The London native has presented with well-known faces – including Alison Hammond, Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, Ruth Langsford, Eamonn Holmes and Lorraine Kelly.

In December 2017, it was announced that Rylan would be taking a break from This Morning for a few months.

He briefly returned to the show a number of times throughout 2018.

Rylan last appeared on the This Morning sofa alongside Ruth Langsford in August 2022.

A source told The UK Sun: “Rylan is already part of the This Morning family and an absolute presenting professional.”

“He has experience both on the sofa and fronting his own telly shows so the audience are safe in his hands,” the source continued.

“He is excited about coming back into the fold and bosses are keen to see how viewers respond to him and his chemistry with Josie with the view to getting him back in again in the near future.”

“It’s been a turbulent time for the series and hosts like Rylan are vital when it comes to steadying the ship.”
