Molly-Mae Hague has been placed under 24 security by Love Island bosses, after leaving the villa earlier this week.

The 20-year-old has been feeling “really overwhelmed” since leaving the villa, and has been subject to serious abuse online – including death threats.

A source told The Sun Online: “Molly has security 24/7 to make her feel safe.”

“Wherever she goes, she’ll have bodyguard. She’s had a rough ride on social media since joining the show and bosses wanted to look after her and make sure she’s OK.”

Over the last few days, fans have grown concerned for the 20-year-old, as she hasn’t posted anything on social media since landing back in the UK.

It’s no surprise Molly is feeling overwhelmed, as she faced a lot of backlash during her time on the show, and viewers constantly branded her “fake”.

Before jetting back to the UK earlier this month, the influencer and the other finalists had to undergo an intense day of training to prepare them for the outside world.

They all had one-on-one sessions with a financial adviser, and social media training.

Love Island bosses chose to implement the compulsory training day, after they came under fire for their aftercare processes earlier this year – following the deaths of two former Islanders.

Molly-Mae’s social media silence also sparked rumours that she had split from Tommy Fury, but thankfully the pair are still “very much together”.

The pair were spotted filming at a boxing gym yesterday, and the scenes will air during the special reunion episode this Sunday.
