Mitchel Taylor has revealed his one regret about his time on Love Island.
The 27-year-old was part of the summer season’s original line-up, and he was initially coupled up with Molly Marsh.
After a string of friendship couples, Mitch’s luck finally changed when he met Casa Amor beauty Abi Moores.
However, his head was then turned by bombshell Ella Barnes – who he was dumped from the villa with on Sunday night.
After leaving the villa, Mitch was asked by ITV whether he had any regrets about his time on the show.
He admitted: “My speech that I did to Molly during the recoupling – I quoted something about wanting her to be happy but with no one else but me – I regret that as I was half in half out already but I took a big leap.”
“We didn’t have a closed book and I just jumped in with two feet and risked it. I should have just coupled up with someone else and left it.”
Molly is now in a happy relationship with Zachariah Noble, and the pair are one of the four couples who made it to the final.
Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas, Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki, and Sammy Root and Jess Harding are also in the grand finale.
One couple will be crowned the winners of the 2023 summer series tonight, and will get to split the £50k cash prize.
The Love Island final airs tonight at 9pm.
