Love Island fans rage as Twitter crashes during the show

Love Island fans were NOT happy on Wednesday night, as they were unable to tweet their reactions to the show.

The social media platform crashed for about 90 minutes last night, meaning users could not post updates on the app.

A message popped up on the screen that read, “Tweet not sent” followed by, “We’re sorry we weren’t able to send your tweet. Would you like to retry or save this tweet in drafts?”

Another message read: “You are over the daily limit for sending Tweets.”

One Love Island viewer tweeted on Wednesday evening: “So rude of Twitter to go down during love island.”

Another wrote: “Are we back? It should be a crime for twitter to be down during love island.”

A third penned: “Anyone else think twitter didn’t like their tweets during love island and kept clicking retry just to realise Twitter had crashed cause me too.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
