Love Island bosses respond to reports that Amy has been ‘taken out of the villa’

Has she left?

Love Island bosses have responded to reports that Amy was removed from the villa, after Curtis left her heartbroken this week.

The air hostess was left devastated when Curtis expressed doubts about their relationship, and said his head had been turned by Jourdan while Amy was in Casa Amor.

Amid concerns for her wellbeing, the Mirror Online reported that bosses stepped in to “whisk” Amy out of the villa to get some therapy.

However, Love Island have since confirmed that Amy has not left the villa.

A spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “We take the emotional well-being of all the Islanders extremely seriously.”

“We have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera, especially if someone appears to be upset.”

“All the Islanders are therefore fully supported by the professionals on site and by their friends in the villa.”
