Another Irish actor has been added to the cast of True Detective.
While Colin Farrell has landed one of the lead roles in the crime drama alongside Vince Vaughn, Irish star Timothy V Murphy has just been announced in the line up.
The actor, best know for his role in Irish series Glenroe, has been cast as the villain in the award-winning drama.
New role: Timothy will play a baddy
Timothy will play Russian gangster Osip Agranov in season two, with stars like Rachel McAdams also lined up for the highly-anticipated series.
Timothy, 64, already has an impressive CV with roles on Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds and new Netflix comedy series Grace and Frankie.
