A first look at Monday’s episode of Love Island as Ronnie pulls Harriett for a chat in the Hideaway Retreat.
Having made it clear he is keen to keep his options open kissing both Jess and Harriett during this evening’s game of dares, Ronnie pulls Harriett for a chat.
Elsewhere, Jess looks on and says to Patsy: “He’s taken her to the Hideaway.”
As they catch up one on one to reflect on the results of the challenge, Ronnie says: “The challenge was a bit mad wasn’t it, I thought I’d just take you out and see what’s what.”
Harriett says: “I feel like it’s progressed in the right direction but obviously you’re still in a couple with Jess.”
Unbeknownst to her exactly what is happening in the Hideaway Retreat Jess speculates with Patsy and says: “I tell you what though, if he does kiss her.”
As Ronnie and Harriett continue their conversation, he explains: “Obviously I’m coupled up with Jess but she knows that I want to get to know you and you want to get to know me and you fancy me a little bit.”
Harriet assures Ronnie: “You know I fancy you, I’ve fancied you since the beginning.”
Having shared a snog during the challenge, will Ronnie and Harriett kiss again in the Hideaway Retreat or will he refrain as Jess awaits them both back in the garden?
As night falls over the Villa, Samantha wants to gain clarity on her connection with Joey.
Samantha says: “I’m not being funny or nothing but you are Joey Essex so I know what girls are like, do you know what I mean. They’re going to go ‘oh Joey Essex is in there so they’re going to be like, right, let’s get on Joey Essex’.
Unsure what to make of Samantha’s observation, Joey looks bemused as Samantha quips back: “They are Joe, I’m not stupid.”
Joey tells Samantha: “If someone is with me for that reason, because I’m Joey Essex, that’s not for me, I promise you, that is not for me.”
Samantha asks: “Well what do you think about me, do you think I’m like that?”
Does Joey doubt Samantha’s intentions?
As the evening continues, the Villa is rocked by the arrival of a text.
The message reads: “Can all Islanders gather around the Firepit immediately.”
