Les Dennis is the fifteenth and final celebrity contestant confirmed for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV personality is best known for hosting TV gameshow Family Fortunes for 16 years.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, Les confessed he was “excited and terrified” about the challenge.
He said: “I had a knee replacement two years ago and I remember thinking to myself, ‘It may be time to slow down’, but you get something offered like this and it puts a spring in your step.
“I’m excited and I’m terrified. People at any age can do anything.”
Alongside his career as a TV host, Les has also acted in the likes of Coronation Street, Extras, Brookside, Death in Paradise and Midsomer Murders.
He was also famously married to Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden from 1995 – 2002.
The full Strictly line up includes Irish presenter Angela Scanlon, former Love Island star Zara McDermott, and actor Adam Thomas.
It also includes Amanda Abbington, Angela Rippon CBE, Layton Williams, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Eddie Kadi, Nikita Kanda, Ellie Leach, Jody Cundy CBE, Bobby Brazier, Nigel Harman and Annabel Croft.
Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return to host the show this year, alongside judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke.
