She was tipped to make it to the live shows, but Irish X Factor hopeful Orla Keogh has been dropped from the singing competition.
The blue-haired Dublin singer had impressed Louis Walsh, Mel B, Cheryl and Simon Cowell, but Goss.ie can reveal she didn’t make it to the judges houses.
“I can say now that I made it to the last six girls in the competition,” she said.

“But unfortunately I just missed out on my change to go to the judges house by getting swapped last minute.”
The DCU student was a victim of the cruel new ‘swapping system’ where acts can be swapped out for other acts by the judges at the last second.
She won her initial place in the final six after wowing the crowd and judges with Emile Sande’s Read All About It.

But the singer is keeping her chin up after the twist.
“I had so much fun and met so many incredible people though and I’m really happy I got to experience it,” she said.
“Looking forward to the show airing, it’s gonna be absolutely hilarious.”
One audience member at the filming said they were shocked what happened.
They said on Twitter: “You were amazing yesterday. It was an absolute joke what happened to you.”

However Irish 22-year-old Savannah is hotly tipped to make it to the live shows.
The singer has been put into an all-girl group, with hopes they will become the next Little Mix.
