Everyone is saying the same thing about Mollie King as she steps in to host This Morning

Mollie King stepped in to co-host This Morning on Tuesday alongside Dermot O’Leary.

While Alison Hammond takes a step back from hosting duties to appear in a Christmas panto, the former Saturdays singer appeared on the show as a guest host – causing fans to do a “double take”.

As Mollie appeared on screen, fans thought former host Holly Willoughby was back on the show, as viewers claimed she’s her “doppelgänger”.

One viewer tweeted: “Congratulations on This Morning #ITV for finding Holly’s doppelgänger.”

Another commented: “Just got home from work, turned on #ThisMorning and had a do a double take because I thought Holly was back.”

A third viewer quipped: “Wonder if Holly is going to phone up and thank Mollie for being a great stunt double.”

ITV bosses are currently on the hunt for permanent replacements for Holly, who quit the show after 14 years in October, and Phillip Schofield, who left the show in May.

The programme has been rotating a number of guests presenters in recent months, including Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes, Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Cat Deeley and Emma Willis.

Last week, the show was hosted by Rylan and Emma – which went down a hit with fans.

Viewers were left begging producers to make them the full-time replacements for Holly and Phillip, as fans praised their on-screen banter.
