Andy Whyment is reportedly eyeing up a record deal following his success on this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here series.
The actor came in second on the show, losing out to queen of the jungle Jacqueline Jossa.
Fans watching fell in love with his positive attitude, and were impressed by his rendition of Mr Brightside in the camp.
The music industry boss told The Star: “Andy’s already a big star, and the jungle has made him even bigger.”
“Don’t be surprised if he gets snapped up quickly.”
“There’s a rich history of soap stars making it big in the charts.”
Andy, who is known for his role on Coronation Street, reportedly busked for a number of years while supporting himself through performing arts college.
He took part in ITV singing competition Soapstar Superstar in 2006, coming in second place at the time.
