Our favourite looks from Margot Robbie’s Barbie movie press tour

We don’t know about you, but we’re absolutely obsessing over Margot Robbie’s looks for the Barbie movie press tour.

The actress and her stylist Andrew Mukamal have worked together to recreate some of Barbie’s most iconic looks, which she’s been wearing to premieres around the world over the past few weeks.

Margot’s commitment to staying in character as Barbie during the press tour has been dubbed ‘method dressing’.

Other stars we’ve seen follow the same trend including Jenna Ortega, who donned gothic looks while she promoted Wednesday; and Halle Bailey, who consistently wore mermaid gowns on The Little Mermaid press tour.

From chic evening gowns to pink suits, check out our favourite Barbie looks on Margot below:

Enchanted Evening Barbie

Margot transformed herself into the Enchanted Evening Barbie, first produced in the 1960s, for the London premiere this week.

The actress nailed the look in a custom light pink Vivienne Westwood gown, a layered pearl choker necklace, opera gloves, and a white stole.

Solo in the Spotlight Barbie

Margot opted for another evening gown look for the Los Angeles premiere of Barbie.

Inspired by the 1960s Solo in the Spotlight Barbie, the 33-year-old wowed the crowd in a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture sequined bustier dress with a tulle hem.

Margot completed the outfit with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, black opera gloves, peep-toe mules by Manolo Blahnik, and a pink silk scarf.

Totally Hair Barbie

Margot channeled the Totally Hair Barbie, released in 1992, for the Mexico City premiere.

She wowed in a patterned Pucci minidress with pink Manolo Blahnik stilettos.

Of course, Margot finished the look with crimped hair and pink Chanel earrings.

Day-to-Night Barbie

One of Margot’s most nostalgic Barbie looks was at a fan event in Seoul.

The Aussie beauty wore a Versace skirt suit inspired by the 1985 Day-to-Night Barbie, complete with an oversized pink bedazzled phone.

Later in the evening for the film’s premiere, Margot changed into a pink sequin Versace bustier and tulle skirt with peep-toe heels.

Earring Magic Barbie

Earring Magic Barbie, released in 1992, was the inspiration for Margot’s outfit at the film’s premiere in Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico.

She donned a hot pink leather bustier minidress with sheer sleeves, a silver chain, and matching silver earrings.

Sparkling Pink Barbie

Margot nailed the Sparking Pink Barbie look at a news conference for the movie in Seoul earlier this month.

The actress wore a Barbie pink studded Moschino skirt suit, and looked the image of the iconic 1964 doll.

The Original Barbie

Margot paid homage to the first Barbie ever released in 1959 during a photo call for the movie at Bondi Beach in Australia last month.

The actress stunned in a black and white Herve Leger striped mini dress, with white retro glasses and black heels.
