Irish Miss Universe hopeful Lisa Madden has revealed her secret weapon for the competition – supermodel Tyson Beckford.
The Cork beauty previously starred on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model where she became close to judge Tyson.
And Lisa admitted she has kept in touch with him since leaving the show – and he is helping her with her bid to triumph at Miss Universe.

She said: “Tyson I was really close to. In fact I’ve even messaged Tyson and asked him to help me pick which evening gown to wear in the competition, he’s been very helpful!”
And the dentistry student admitted she has a major crush on the 44-year-old model, adding: “He is incredibly hot! Oh Jesus, unbelievably!”
Lisa also revealed that she has been going through the other Miss Universe contestants Facebook profiles to suss out her competition.

“I have been stalking the other girls on Facebook and Instagram and oh my God they are incredible! The South Americans are amazing,” she said.
Despite the stiff competition, the 22-year-old beauty says she is ready to work with what she’s got.
“I’m just going to be proud of who I am, and I’m going to go to town with the pale skin and  the dark hair and make the most of that,” she told VIP Magazine.
Lisa also admits she is very competitive and is ready to become the first ever Irish winner of the beauty pageant.
She said: “I would love to win it! That would be amazing. Roz [Purcell] did incredibly well in coming seventh, so even just to come in the top 10 would be great. I am secretly very competitive.”
