Yvonne Keating has insisted her family isn’t “broken” after her split with Ronan Keating.
Instead the former model claimed their living arrangement was one of a “modern family” where the kids stay with both parents.
“I consider myself a single mother but it’s not a broken family, it’s more a modern family, because more people go through it,” she told the Star.

“I think the difficulties of being a single mother is that when you’re on your own with your children you are doing everything independently so it would be great to have a second pair of hands, but you don’t.”
It comes after Yvonne last weekend admitted that she found it tough when Ronan’s new partner Storm Uechtritz is with their kids.

Since the split, the Celebrity MasterChef star has also moved on with John Conroy, who she met filming daughter Missy’s film.
Their relationship broke down after Ronan had an affair on tour with backing dancer Francine Cornell.
