We finally know when we can watch the Gossip Girl reboot in Ireland

Good news for Gossip Girl fans, as BBC have acquired the rights to the HBO Max reboot for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

BBC have also acquired the rights to all six seasons of the original series, which was taken off Netflix at the start of this year.

Gossip Girl is set in New York. and follows the rich students of Constance Billard School For Girls and St. Jude’s School for Boys.

In the original series, which starred Blake Lively and Leighton Meister, the students were plagued by an anonymous website called ‘Gossip Girl’ that threatened to reveal their darkest secrets.

In the reboot, Gossip Girl has made a return to Constance Billard and St. Jude’s in the form of an Instagram page.

Kristen Bell, who narrated the original series, is set to return as narrator for the reboot but HBO have said none of the other original cast members will be making an appearance just yet.
