Some heartbreaking footage of Conor McGregor has been released, showing the emotional moments after he lost to Floyd Mayweather last month.
Although the UFC star showed up to the post-fight press conference in high spirits, the moments beforehand were much more sombre.
In new footage released by Mixed Martial Arts News, Conor looks disappointed in his dressing room, soon after losing the fight in the tenth round due to a TKO.
However, Conor perks up when his long-term partner Dee and their son Conor Jnr show up. After sharing a quick kiss with Dee, Conor shook his son’s hand and said, “How ye baby”.
Conor’s mum Margaret then hugged and kissed her son, and told him, “You did great son. I love you. I’m proud of you.”
However, the most interesting moment was when Conor said “I’m sorry” to UFC boss Dana White, who supported him in the run up to the fight.
But Dana quickly dismissed Conor’s apology by saying, “”Dude, I’m estastic. Very very f****** badass of you. I’m telling you; you are unbelievable.”
The Crumlin native then shares a whiskey with his team.
