Vogue Williams has hit out at the person behind the ‘RTÉ Secret Producer’ Twitter account.
The anonymous account (@rtesecretpro) was set up on September 7, and has been venting on the state of the broadcaster ever since – and the anon Twitter user even took aim at RTÉ star Vogue and her documentaries.
The ‘secret producer’ said that RTE commission Vogue to “come out of her mansion now and then to patronise marginalised communities.”
However, Vogue has hit back at their comments, by saying, “I don’t have a response to that. It’s just some loser setting up a twitter account to abuse people.”
“Things like that? They are like water off a duck’s back. I really don’t care. I have had lots of people coming up to me saying how much they like my documentaries so I don’t care what one anonymous person on Twitter says,” she told Independent.ie.
“Imagine setting up an account to solely abuse people? I hate that the papers have even picked up on it because it’s just giving that person what they want.”
