Versace has unveiled their Cillian Murphy campaign after he made history with his Oscar win.
The Cork native took home the Oscar for Best Actor at the 96th Academy Awards and was the first Irish-born actor to receive the award.
The high-fashion brand announced the Irish actor as the new talent of Versace Icons on March 13th.

The actor who won for his portrayal of Robert J. Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s biopic that follows the life of the nuclear physicist, wore custom Atelier Versace to the award ceremony.
Speaking about the partnership, Versace creative director Donatella Versace said: “I am thrilled that Cillian is joining the Versace family.”
“He is a truly exceptional actor and totaly deserves his Oscar win. He is magnetic and mesmerizing in front of a camera and I loved seeing him bring Versace to life.”

Cillian recently swept awards season after winning Best Actor at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and BAFTA’s.
The Peaky Blinders actor went up against Bradley Cooper, Colman Domingo, Paul Giamatti and Jeffrey Wright on the night.
The others were nominated for their respective roles in Maestro, Rustin, The Holdovers and American Fiction.
Oppenheimer led the field in this year’s Academy Awards with 13 Oscar nominations and seven wins.
Cillian’s co-star Robert Downey Jr also took home the award for Best Supporting Actor.
