Tommy Bowe has showed off his sky high new hobby – flying planes in his bid to get a pilot’s licence.
The Irish rugby player showed off a picture beside this miniature jet saying it was his “first solo flight in this little bad boy today.”
The Monaghan star has taken up the new hobby in a bid to keep himself occupied during the day.

He was introduced by Ospreys team-mate Ian Gough, who he had been rooming with at the Welsh club, and fell in love with flying after a test flight.
Recently Tommy broke hearts when he announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend, former Miss Wales Lucy Whitehouse.
He got down on one knee over the Easter holidays, three years after meeting in a Cardiff nightclub.
