Thalia Heffernan has opened up about her mum and dad separating.
The Irish model’s parents Susan and Gerard separated last year, making this the second Christmas for her and her sisters without their mum and dad together.
“It’s all still quite new,” she explained.

“As long as they’re both happy, myself and my sisters are happy. These things take time, but time is a healer,” she told VIP Magazine.
Thalia revealed that her family has become stronger as a result of the separation as her parents are much happier now.
“We’re a stronger family because of it, and it’s nice to see my parents so happy. There’s no bad blood.”

“Things might initially be raw, but you need to look to the future and know everything will be ok,” she said.
“If it hasn’t become easier yet, you know it’s not the end.”
