Taylor Swift reacts to viral video of Dermot Kennedy covering her song

Taylor Swift has reacted to viral video of Dermot Kennedy covering one of her songs.

The songstress released her tenth studio album ‘Midnights’ on October 21, which includes the hit track ‘Anti-Hero’.

Dermot, who hails from Dublin, covered the song during his session in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

The popular Irish singer shared a video of his cover to his social media accounts on Tuesday, and wrote: “What a song. Honoured to cover it @taylorswift . Thanks for the kind words everyone ♥️”

One fan commented on the post: “THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING COVER I COULD HAVE WISHED FOR,” and a second wrote: “It is by far my favourite cover you have done 💜❤️. Feel the words even more when you sing it 🔥👏”

Another commented: “In love with this cover! ❤️😍👏”, while a fourth fan wrote: “dermotttttt this was incredible, WOW 🥹”

Taylor also reacted to the now-viral cover on Twitter, writing: “WOW – Absolutely love this.”

It comes after Taylor received four nominations for the 2023 Grammys.

She is up for Song of the Year (“All Too Well (1o Minute Version) (The Short Film)”), Best Country Song (“I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)”), Best Song Written for Visual Media (“Carolina,” from Where the Crawdads Sing), and Best Music Video (All Too Well: The Short Film).
