Stephanie Davis brands Jeremy McConnell as ‘vile and selfish’ – hours after declaring her love for him

Stephanie Davis has branded Jeremy McConnell as “vile” and “selfish”, just hours after declaring her love and support for him after his alleged arrest.

The Dublin model was arrested after allegedly assaulting the former Hollyoaks star, however, in a series of tweets last night – Stephanie insisted that she would “stand by” the father of her baby son, Caben-Albi.

But, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Stephanie seemed to have a change of heart as she deleted ever single tweet defending Jeremy, before branding him as vile and selfish.

“You can only turn your life around when you want to be saved and be better for your self if not, live ur own vile selfish life & be unhappy,” she wrote.

“Emotionally and mentally drained.Time for a change. Madness how much u can help someone to just have it thrown back in your face,” she added.

In another tweet, which has since been deleted, she wrote, “Selfish in denial people only love and care about them selfs. U can’t help people who don’t want to be helped.”

In the previous, and now deleted, tweets – Stephanie appeared to defend her ex-boyfriend, who she met on Celebrity Big Brother last year.

“U can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be helped. I have done all I can regardless what has been thrown in my face [sic].

“He had made the choice to block me after saviour paranoia and that’s his choice not mine. To the press, u will always love him, but u can’t help someone who needs to help them selfs! I will always be there for Jeremy. But he now needs to help himself [sic].”

“I’ll love him always and always be there but sometimes u have to be cruel to be kind. I hope he comes back the person I fell in love with [sic]”.

The actress also claimed that Jeremy turned down MTV’s Ex On The Beach in order to “prove” how much he loved her and their son Caben-Albi.

“U may call me a mug, but when u love someone your there for them. I may be worthless the way he’s treated me but I believe he can be a better person [sic],” she added.

Despite her emotional speech about Jeremy, she deleted the string of tweets at around 1.45am on Tuesday.

The tweets come just two weeks after Jeremy was arrested due to an alleged incident that took place at Stephanie’s home.

The new mother sparked concern after uploading a Snapchat of her legs looking severely bruised, however, Jeremy has denied any wrongdoing.

“Jeremy denies any wrongdoing, however he is fully cooperating with the police in their investigations,” his rep told Mirror Celeb.
