Erika Fox, otherwise known as her blog name Retro Flame, was featured on Nationwide last night.
The Irish fashion, lifestyle and beauty blogger is currently living and working in New York.
Nationwide did a special episode focused on Irish people in New York, and people were loving hearing Erika’s story.
The blogger was commended by social media users for her refreshing honesty and entrepreneurial spirit.

Yesterday also marked the anniversary of when Erika quit her job to focus on her blog full time.
Writing on her blog about leaving her job to pursue her own career, Erika expressed that she doesn’t think ‘quit’ is the right word.
She called it, “A thought-out, calculated decision to move onto the next chapter and start doing everything physically possible to make those dreams of mine a reality.”
Take a look at some of the supportive tweets about Retro Flame on Nationwide:

I have to say @retroflame hit the nail on the head. Too much curation results in inauthentic content.
