Ryan Tubridy has revealed that his two daughters have a huge impact on his work decisions.
He told The Irish Sun that their opinions on pop culture have influenced the guests that the new season of The Late Late Show will host.
“I was paying too much attention to opinion that wasn’t important,” said Ryan.
“That is a great realisation, it is cathartic. So the people that matter are now all that I pay attention to and the ones that don’t, I don’t.”
“It’s a simple formula and one that can be applied to anyone in any walk of life.”
He describes his daughters as “two of the most important, if not the most important” opinions in his life.”
He explained: “They do pass their opinion but they are great. They are my advisers now, they are my guides in terms of pop culture.”
“Like even the Late Late Show on Friday had Love Island on it, I watched it through their eyes so I was well up to speed, so they’re advisers now.”
Last week, the Late Late Show saw Maura Higgins, Greg O’Shea and Curtis Pritchard sit down with Ryan to be interviewed.
