Ruth O’Neill has announced that she’s leaving TV3’s Xposé.
After winning the award for Best Newcomer at the VIP Style Awards on Friday, the presenter has revealed that she’s decided to leave the entertainment show – which she has fronted alongside Cassie Stokes, Glenda Gilson and Karen Koster.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave Xposé. It was a very difficult decision for me. The last year has been a whirlwind – from covering New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris and the BBC Music Awards,” Ruth revealed in a statement.
“But I feel it’s time to move on to new pastures and will be pursuing opportunities abroad in the coming months.

“I had a fantastic time working with the great team on the show and I will miss my Xposé family. I wish the show every success in the future.”
Meanwhile, Ruth told the Irish Sun, “I want to stress this is completely my own decision. I handed in my notice. I just feel it’s time to move on and keep developing my skills more.”
Ruth also denied that a new relationship with a mystery man based in London had anything to do with her decision, “We’ve only been dating for a few months.”
“Obviously it would be nice not to have to jump on a plane to see someone but I could be heading back to America too so that’s not any part in my decision.”
Debbie O’Donnell, Series Producer of Xposé, said, “We wish Ruth all the best on her future adventures. She has been an asset to the team and she will be missed.”
