The world famous golfer has snapped up 51 Dawson Street, which is currently home to popular restaurant Featherblade.

The property was up for sale for €4.25 million recently.

“It’s been a very shrewd investment for Rory because the value of the property meant it was under the radar for foreign vulture funds,” a source told the Sunday Independent.

“It also has huge potential. Rory can now use the office space up top to convert it into a cool bachelor [pad] in the centre of town.”

However Rory is far from a bachelor at the moment, as he’s engaged to Erica Stoll, who he brought home to Ireland this Christmas.

Rory has often been spotted in popular Dawson Street venue 37 Dawson Street.
